Job summary

FAO Jakarta seeks an experienced IT infrastructure specialist to strengthen the MERANTI NFI information system. The role focuses on servers, security, backups, and capacity planning across development, testing and production environments.

Under FAO guidance, you will collaborate with IPSDH, PMU and technical staff to ensure scalable, secure and available IT infrastructure for the 11‑month project. Proficiency in English and Indonesian is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least five years of professional experience in system administration, IT infrastructure management, cloud or on-premises server administration and enterprise information system support.
• Working knowledge of English.
• National of Indonesia or resident with valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Assess current server utilization, storage consumption, backup arrangements, security controls and projected infrastructure needs.
• Document priority infrastructure improvements feasible within the project period.
• Prepare capacity assessment and indicative expansion plan for next three years.
• Monitor capacity plan changes based on application scope, data growth and user load.
• Configure and maintain development, testing and production environments per requirements.
• Assist in compiling infrastructure documentation and SOPs for server administration and backup procedures.
