Job summary

EXEO Group is seeking a Network Engineer in Jakarta to design, implement, and support secure, high‑performing LAN/WAN environments for enterprise customers. You will deploy routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related technologies, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues while ensuring security best practices.

Travel within Indonesia may be required, and you will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver successful deployments and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in network engineering or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience in customer-facing environments, system integrator, MSP, or VAD is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, STP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to explain tech to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain network infrastructure solutions.
• Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs, and related devices.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, and security issues.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, and security issues.
• Configure and manage network services: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, routing protocols.
• Implement network security best practices: firewall policies, secure remote access, segmentation, access control.
• Perform upgrades, firmware updates, backups, and DR activities.
• Monitor health and propose improvements for performance and reliability.
• Prepare network diagrams, config docs, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams for successful deployments.
• Provide technical support during and after projects, meeting SLAs.
• Participate in POCs, product demos, and customer presentations.
• Ensure solutions meet SLAs, requirements, and security standards.
• Stay updated on networking tech, security trends, and vendor certs.
