Job summary

Thales in Jakarta is seeking a technical professional to support the team responsible for managing network flows within the global Thales scope. You will work on automating tasks and improving configuration processes to ensure reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and multiple firewalls; you will collaborate in an Agile environment, document requirements in English, and contribute to safer, greener solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with network security management and configurations.

• Understanding of firewall platforms and network routing concepts.

The role is to support the team responsible for managing network flows within the global Thales scope.
In addition to flow management, the team to which the profile will belong is responsible for:

• Improving user experience, reducing processing times, and making them predictable.
• Increasing configuration compliance and risk management.
• Globalizing the services delivered by the squad, which are:
• Network flow security management
• Configuration audit and compliance

The requested service content consists of:

• Automating recurring/repetitive and complex tasks.
• Enhancing the squad's development environment.
• Supporting the squad in cleaning up and automating configurations.
• Project support.

Technical Skills

• Development: Python, PowerShell, Ansible

• Networking / Routing: Cisco Routers (IOS / NX-OS), BGP / OSPF, LACP, VRF, Route Leaking
