Job summary

Thales Jakarta is hiring a NetDevOps engineer to manage network flows within a global context. The role focuses on automation, configuration hygiene, and security across multiple firewall and routing platforms.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional squad to improve efficiency and reduce processing times. The candidate should be proficient in Python, PowerShell and Ansible, with hands-on experience in network design, BGP/OSPF, and firewall technologies.

Qualifications

• Development: Python, PowerShell, Ansible.
• Networking concepts including BGP/OSPF, VRF and routing.
• Experience with firewall platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Automate recurring and complex tasks to streamline network operations.
• Improve the squad's development environment.
• Assist in cleaning up and automating configurations.
• Provide project support and documentation.

In addition to flow management, the team to which the profile will belong is responsible for:

• Improving user experience, reducing processing times, and making them predictable.
• Increasing configuration compliance and risk management.
• Globalizing the services delivered by the squad, which are:
• Network flow security management
• Configuration audit and compliance

The requested service content consists of:

• Automating recurring/repetitive and complex tasks.
• Enhancing the squad's development environment.
• Supporting the squad in cleaning up and automating configurations.
• Project support.

Technical Skills
