Job Description

  • Lead and manage nationwide shipping operations, including port, depot, and office activities.
  • Oversee vessel turnaround times, cargo flow, container allocation, and equipment readiness.
  • Act as the main troubleshooter for port operations; travel regularly to key ports across Indonesia.
  • Manage vendor and trucking performance, ensuring service level compliance and cost accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with customs and Dangerous Goods regulations.
  • Monitor and improve container utilization and minimize empty container dwell time at depots.
  • Standardize operational processes across branch offices to maintain high service consistency.
  • Drive performance through effective reporting systems and timely issue resolution.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in shipping operations, including national-level responsibility
  • Proven experience in port operations, vessel coordination, and container equipment control
  • Strong understanding of shipping agency requirements, office operations, and logistics vendor management
  • Deep knowledge of regulations in Dangerous Goods and Customs Regulations
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in shipping systems and reporting tools
