What does this role look like for you?

Leading Diageo Spirits business performance by overseeing and optimizing the relationship between Diageo and the distributors. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to ensure distributor performance and capabilities meet Diageo’s expectations as a business partner.

Key Accountabilities
  • Deliver key financial targets such as NSV, OP, OCC, and market share
  • Lead the business performance of the three distributors
  • Effectively lead, plan, direct, motivate, train, and measure the Distributor organizations
  • Anticipate evolving business trends to improve performance and mitigate risks; lead the negotiation of commercial arrangements with the distributors, including rolling forecast sales, credit management, and trade spend management
What you need to bring to this role
  • 12-15+ years of customer sales experience, ideally in an FMCG environment, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
  • Experience engaging cross-functionally with senior leaders with responsibility for deployment and management of meaningful financial budgets
  • Highly numerical with experience developing profitable customer propositions and delivering key commercial measures
  • Ability to structure and present compelling commercial propositions with excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
