Music Teacher (coaching choir & skill ensemble musical instruments)

We are seeking qualified, enthusiastic, and committed Music teachers with experience in coaching choir and ensemble musical instruments to join our teaching team. If you meet the qualifications and are up for the challenge, please send your updated resume as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We expect you to:

• Educate students about fundamental concepts of music theory such as vocalization, rhythm, melody, pitch, and tempo.
• Conduct exercises and coach students in choir, vocalization, harmonizing, singing, and ensemble musical instruments.
• Lead rehearsals in preparation for the school’s musical performances.
• Plan and implement lesson plans.
• Teach music courses.
• Lead rehearsals for musical programs.
• Grade written and practical examinations.
• Record student grades and attendance.
• Conduct lessons, co-curricular activities, curriculum reviews, examinations, marking, and moderation.
• Create syllabi and lesson plans.
• Develop instruments and carry out student assessments.
• Monitor and report student progress monthly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of prior teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education.
• Must be licensed to teach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Determined and dependable.
• Passionate about music.
• Proficient in written and oral English skills.
• Understanding of the Cambridge Curriculum is an advantage.
• Experience in teaching English at a formal school is an advantage.
• Able to manage the classroom effectively to maintain an orderly learning environment.
• Experience in delivering lessons and grading student assignments and exams.
• Honest, diligent, conscientious, creative, and physically and mentally healthy.
• Good integrity as a teacher.
• Willing to participate in the selection process.
