Job summary

China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd is seeking a Translator & Project Document Controller to join our team in Gowa, South Sulawesi. This full-time role ensures effective communication and rigorous management of project documents across our international operations.

You will translate technical materials, control contracts and specifications, maintain an indexed document system, and coordinate with both Chinese management and local teams to keep all stakeholders aligned throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, Indonesian and Mandarin (is a plus) in writing and speaking.
• Experience as a translator or project document controller in engineering or construction.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical and administrative documents.
• Control all project documentation including contracts and specs.
• Maintain a document management system with proper filing and indexing.
• Prepare project communications and meeting minutes for stakeholders.
• Liaise between Chinese HQ and local teams for clear communication on project matters.
• QA checks on translations for accuracy and consistency with standards.
• Coordinate documentation with regulators and external partners as needed.
• Track revisions and maintain version control.
• Provide administrative support to project management teams.
