Job summary

A leading environmental services company in Banten, Indonesia is looking for a qualified individual to operate the Multi Effect Evaporator and monitor the water and wastewater balance. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of Senior High School education, at least 2 years of experience in environmental protections, and knowledge of water management. This role includes responsibilities for equipment maintenance and compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Multi Effect Evaporator and ensure wastewater treatment runs smoothly.
• Monitor and adjust pH of raw wastewater before feeding into the MEE.
• Operate Hydrophores, Cooling Towers, and monitor water balance.
• Conduct regular patrols for environmental monitoring.
• Ensure all equipment is in proper operation and report issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Multi Effect Evaporator: check, control, record, and report the water and wastewater balance to ensure wastewater treatment runs smoothly and to prevent production interruptions due to water and wastewater constraints.
• Operate the Hydrophores, Cooling Towers, Process Water systems; regenerate demineralized plant; monitor the deep well water, process water, cooling tower, and demineralized water balance to guarantee sufficient water supply for production.
• Raw wastewater: monitor and adjust the pH before feeding into the MEE to prevent corrosion and ensure proper treatment.
• Water and wastewater balance: control, monitor, record, and report generation and utilization to maintain balance and prevent production interruptions due to water and wastewater constraints.
• Multi Effect Evaporator: operate per SOP; record process parameters and MEE output; transfer concentrated wastewater into pond E-321 for drying in spray dryer and send condensate water to pond C-307 for reuse as cleaning water for production equipment.
• Cooling Tower Operation: check, control, monitor, record, and adjust cooling tower and boiler water quantity and quality (including temperature and conductivity); sample tests and report any nonconformities.
• Demin Plant: operate, regenerate, and blowdown per SOP; record demineralized water quantity and quality; report nonconformities for adjustment.
• Environmental Protections: arrange, control, record, and report daily environmental monitoring inside and outside the Gabus plant; conduct regular patrols and monitor community impact; report to the HSE Manager.
• Maintains MEE, Cooling Tower and Demineralized Plant Equipment: ensure all equipment is in proper operation; report out-of-order equipment to Engineering for immediate repair to minimize production delays due to WWTP constraints.
• Work and Process Safety: follow established work safety and process safety regulations; proactively maintain and review process safety related to MEE operation; take corrective actions when unsafe conditions are observed or reported.
