Motion & Visual Designer - Smartphone OS

We are looking for a Motion & Visual Designer to join our team in Jakarta. You will be responsible for creating engaging motion content around OS features, product highlights, and real-life user scenarios, primarily for social media. You will work closely with product, marketing, content, and localization teams to transform complex system features into intuitive, engaging, and shareable content, including short-form videos, motion graphics, animated feature demos, and social media assets.

Key responsibilities

Create social media marketing content for OS features, including short-form videos, motion ads, animated feature demonstrations, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and other social content.

Translate product features, interaction flows, and user scenarios into clear, engaging, and well-paced motion storytelling.

Develop creative content tailored to Indonesian social media audiences based on marketing campaigns, local festivals, trending topics, and product launch schedules.

Participate in the full creative process, including concept development, script ideation, storyboarding, animation, video editing, subtitle design, and visual optimization.

Use AI-powered video generation tools to improve creative efficiency, including concept generation, motion asset creation, and visual style exploration.

Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure that content accurately communicates the value of OS features while maintaining brand visual consistency.

Stay up to date with social media trends, short-form video formats, AI video tools, and motion design trends, and actively explore new creative approaches.

Job Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in animation, motion design, video design, social media creative design, or related fields.

Proficiency in commonly used design and video production tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.

Strong motion design skills with a solid understanding of pacing, transitions, camera language, information hierarchy, and visual storytelling.

Experience creating content for social media platforms and familiarity with formats and trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.

Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI-powered creative and video generation tools such as Runway, Pika, Kling, Luma, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and CapCut AI.

Ability to independently manage the full production process, from understanding product features and developing creative concepts to delivering final video assets.

Strong visual taste and an interest in technology products, smartphone operating systems, apps, and feature-driven product storytelling.

Ability to communicate in English in a professional working environment.

A portfolio showcasing relevant work in motion design, short-form video, social media content, or AI-generated video is required.
