What you bring
  • Proven experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles with a focus on immigration
  • Comprehensive understanding of immigration procedures and compliance processes

  • Experience in technology or rapidly growing/scaling companies is highly desirable
  • Flexible, adaptable team player who can adjust to evolving priorities
  • Customer-facing experience with strong communication and ability to engage diverse client bases
  • Interest in expanding knowledge of global immigration laws and developing expertise
  • Experience working remotely and asynchronously with minimal oversight is a plus
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal and strategic guidance on immigration compliance service delivery
  • Monitor and control Remote products and services for immigration compliance
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identify, develop, and implement in-house immigration services to increase revenue, efficiency, and client satisfaction
  • Analyze, prepare, and submit visa/work permit applications
  • Maintain immigration law knowledge and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance; manage internal documentation
  • Handle escalations, determine when senior-level review is required, and guide stakeholders to timely resolutions
  • Counsel on travel needs and sponsorship cases; serve as a point of contact for business travel
  • Manage case statuses using case management and billing systems
  • Apply immigration knowledge to provide solution-based responses in complex cases
  • Be a team player who can work autonomously and own day-to-day tasks
  • Proactively improve processes through automation and documentation

Remote’s Total Rewards philosophy ensures fair, unbiased compensation and competitive benefits in all locations. We aim to pay above in-location rates and avoid cheap-labor practices. We seek to inspire other companies to support global talent hiring and bring local wealth to developing countries.

We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of a global compensation strategy.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $26,700 – $60,050 USD. Base pay depends on location, skills, experience, training, business needs, and market demands. The range may be subject to change.

Note: Internal mobility and compensation details are managed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case-by-case basis.
