Job summary

Pt Global Chemindo Megatrading is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, configure, and maintain equipment at customer sites in Jakarta. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and provide end-user training to ensure optimal operation and uptime.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, the ability to read manuals and schematics, and a valid driver’s license for field travel. Company-provided vehicle and health insurance are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar installation and maintenance role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and potentially electronic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a field-based environment.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems according to technical specifications and service manuals.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and calibration of machinery and devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including hardware malfunctions, software glitches, and operational problems.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Provide technical guidance and basic training to end-users on equipment operation and maintenance.
