Job Description

  1. Manage all activities related to construction works from beginning to the end including planning, execution, completion, and delivery.
  2. Manage a team of contractors for construction.
  3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and codes.
  4. Provide support and input to several aspects of project processes including material/equipment procurement, contracts, budget and cost control, and overall project management of construction works.
  5. Monitor and prepare reports regarding project status and progress to ensure projects are going according to plan including schedule, cost control, materials management, and quality control.
  6. Ensure projects are going according to plan and identify in advance any risk/crisis potential.

Requirements

  1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  2. Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in management of construction projects, preferably in the mining industry.
  3. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
  4. Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills.
  5. Strong technical knowledge in design and construction methods including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works.
  6. Have an excellent understanding of mining business processes and risk management.
