Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory activities, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Develop and validate testing methods for mineral characterization and processing.
  • Oversee sample preparation, analysis, and reporting of test results.
  • Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze test data to recommend process improvements for cost reduction and performance enhancement.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and methodologies in mineral processing.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a mineral processing or metallurgical laboratory.
  • Strong knowledge of mineral characterization techniques (e.g., flotation, leaching, gravity separation, XRF, ICP, SEM, etc.).
  • Has experiences analyzing mineral ores (gold & copper)
