Mine Plan Engineer (with Advanced Coding Skills)

Conduct ORC/KCMI-compliant reserve estimation and ROM ore estimates.

Provide accurate mine planning, scheduling, and equipment performance data.

Review and evaluate coal and other mineral projects, identifying acquisition potential.

Identify upside opportunities in mining operations.

Regularly report on mine planning, mining operations, and process plant performance.

Experience in precious metals, base metals, and coal.

Skill Requirements:

• Mastery of mining operations, surveying, and geology/mine engineering, especially for coal and other minerals (copper, gold, etc.) — short, mid, and long-term planning.
• Advanced knowledge of mine planning and proficiency in at least one mine planning software (Surpac, Gemcom, Vulcan, Xpac, Geovia MineSched, etc.).
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
