Job Description
Coal Mining Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient execution of engineering operations within the coal mining project. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and optimizing short-term, medium-term, and long-term mine plans, focusing on operational efficiency and resource recovery.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including geology, production, and engineering, to ensure the mine plan aligns with business goals.
- Conducting regular assessments and adjustments to mine plans to address changing conditions and improve productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
- Utilizing advanced mine planning software to create detailed and accurate plans.
- Managing and mentoring the mine planning team to enhance their technical capabilities and performance.
- Preparing reports and presentations for senior management regarding mine performance and strategies.
- Planning and implementing mine engineering plans, including design, scheduling, and production optimization.
- Managing and supervising daily coal mining operations to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
- Conducting technical assessments and feasibility studies for new and existing projects, including long-term and short-term planning.
- Collaborating with teams to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implementing best practices in mine planning, equipment utilization, and infrastructure development.
- Ensuring all engineering activities align with corporate objectives and government regulations.
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to engineers and field teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- S-1 degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine engineering, especially in coal mining operations.
- Strong knowledge of mining software (e.g., Surpac, Minex, Minescape) and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with Indonesian mining laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to be based in remote site locations as required.
