Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group in Medan is seeking a Nursing professional for inpatient care roles. Applies nursing care under supervision, participates in rounds, and supports quality and safety initiatives across units.

Responsibilities include preparing facilities, maintaining medical records, conducting assessments, and handing over care to the next shift with clear communication to patients and families. Diploma required with at least 6 months inpatient experience; on-site position with shift

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) Degree from Nursing
• Have minimum 6 months of clinical experience in an inpatient area

Responsibilities

• Carrying out nursing care to all inpatients under her/his responsibility, as well as providing nursing services in accordance with the hospital's vision, mission, philosophy and goals of the nursing division as well as implementing nursing service quality policies and room work targets
• Carry out morning, afternoon and evening duties in rotation according to the service roster created by the Head Nurse
• Carrying out the main responsibilities for implementing Nursing Services: Providing nursing care with independent nursing intervention in accordance with the competencies and qualifications possessed
• Actively participate in the implementation of hospital quality and patient safety improvement programs as well as quality improvement programs in their rooms
• Preparing facilities for the smooth running of nursing services and making it easier for patients/families to provide services by: Arranging the safety and comfort of the room, Checking and ensuring that all the equipment needed is functioning properly and that medicines and other health equipment are needed. required are available and ready to use, Support the cleanliness and tidiness of the work environment.
• Carrying out the main responsibilities for implementing Nursing Services: Carrying out nursing actions according to applicable standard operational procedures based on the limits of ability and competence possessed.
• Providing nursing care to clients at all levels of the maternity and midwifery business by applying standards of nursing practice: Carrying out nursing assessments at the beginning of patient admission and continuously while the patient is in care using the applicable format, Determining problems client nursing through analysis of assessment results, Applying goals and objectives to overcome nursing problems that occur, Carrying out nursing actions/therapy according to patient needs based on applicable procedural policies, Continuously observing and monitoring the patient's health condition, Providing health education to patients/ family, evaluating the nursing actions/therapy that have been given
• Reading reports to find out patient conditions and clarifications, action plans/diagnostic examinations, plans for incoming and discharged patients
• Handover patients to the next shift nurse
• Displaying a polite attitude, effective and therapeutic communication to internal and external customers
• Introduce yourself and inform the patient and family of the substitute midwife who will continue nursing care on each shift
