Job summary

Mars in Makassar seeks a Technologist for Microbiology Lab to assist scientists, prototype methods, and conduct testing of raw materials, in-process, finish products, and environment samples per Mars standards.

You will operate advanced instruments, support LIMS adoption, and manage data in BC365 and Power BI, contributing to method updates, validation, and CAPA processes for quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience performing microbiology testing and quality control.
• Ability to maintain and update testing methods and references.
• Strong data management and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse microbiology testing including raw material, in-process, finish product, and environmental samples.
• Operate high-end microbiology instruments and manage culture and contamination controls.
• Maintain documentation, review methods, and support LIMS and data platforms.
• Contribute to CAPA, incident investigations, and continuous improvement.
