Job summary

Johnson Controls in Jakarta is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, integrate, test, and support MES solutions in manufacturing operations. You will work on MES-to-ERP connectivity, shop floor integration, and PLC knowledge to support deployments across sites.

The role involves SAT support, development of MES interfaces, and collaboration with IT and production teams to ensure smooth operations and validated deployments. Relocation may be required for project activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• Experience with MES platforms is essential for this role.
• Experience with system integration and industrial data exchange is preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations is beneficial.
• Willingness to relocate temporarily or permanently for SAT activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and support MES solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Participate in MES-to-ERP and shop floor integration activities.
• Support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and relocation to customer or project sites as required.
• Develop and maintain custom MES applications, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues in production environments.
• Collaborate with IT, automation, and production teams to support deployment and operations.
• Assist in validation, testing, and deployment of MES solutions.
• Gain working knowledge of PLC systems and support MES integration with shop floor equipment.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide training and technical support to end users and stakeholders.
