A local foundation in Indonesia is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Analyst. This role involves designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to enhance program learning and accountability. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, 4-5 years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills. The position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia and may require travel within the region.

The Need
For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM’s Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50% and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. In its partnership with Yayasan Integritas Justitia Madani Indonesia (IJMI), we are seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Analyst for Yayasan IJMI who is responsible for the design and implementation of IJM Indonesia’s monitoring, evaluation, research and learning frameworks and procedures, and for ensuring the capture, recording, analysis and use of program and external data for improved program learning and evaluation. The MERL Analyst will support the Indonesia program by compiling, reviewing, and analyzing information about program activities and results and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. He or she will also develop data sharing collaborations, and work with partners to improve their data capture and analysis. This will allow for timely decision-making, ensure accountability, and provide the basis for evaluation and learning. He/she will also work with IJM’s regional team to support research studies related to the Indonesia program. The position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia and may require travel within Indonesia and regionally. This position reports to the Field Office Director, Indonesia.
