About the Role

As the Merchant Marketing Growth Promo Senior Associate, you will be responsible for driving GoFood’s merchant engagement and revenue growth through increasing merchant funded promo adoption. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing marketing and CRM strategies that effectively influence merchants to participate in promotional programs, while supporting successful go-to-market (GTM) execution for new product rollouts.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of merchant promotional adoption—from awareness and onboarding to active participation and retention. You will lead the development of targeted CRM campaigns, optimize segmentation and messaging, and track performance to continuously improve campaign outcomes. You will also serve as the marketing lead for new promo-related feature launches, crafting compelling value propositions, managing GTM plans, and ensuring cross-functional alignment with product, business, and operations teams.

Your ability to blend data-driven insights with creative marketing execution will be critical in influencing merchant behavior at scale. You’ll play a key role in shaping how GoFood positions merchant funded promo as growth levers for merchants, contributing directly to business growth and merchant satisfaction.


What Will You Do
  • Boost program participation through CRM & Automation to drive merchant engagement in key programs by executing CRM campaigns
  • Develop and plan marketing assets distribution as well as create and manage marketing materials to support business growth, merchant education, and sales enablement
  • Adopt Go-to-Market strategy and lead feature launch communications by adopting CRM, social media, and internal sales channels
  • Run campaigns and experiments to improve merchant conversion with Sales team to test and improve outreach strategies, optimize campaign performance, and drive conversions
  • Conduct merchant segments and behavior analysis to drive strategic initiatives to shape better CRM strategies and merchant growth initiatives
What Will You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience as a growth marketing, marketing strategy, business analyst, product marketing, or any related fields
  • Experience in platform businesses (e.g., marketplaces, e-commerce, food delivery, mobility, fintech, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Highly proficient in data analysis – comfortable working with dashboards, segmentation models, funnels, and behavioral analytics.
  • Ability to hypothesize and test growth strategies based on deep insights (e.g., diagnosing churn reasons, identifying virgin merchants, etc.) to make strategic decisions
  • Strong experience in marketing and GTM including lifecycle marketing, segmentation, positioning, and channel strategy (CRM, in-product, sales enablement, etc.).
  • Experience in crafting value propositions and marketing communication for different audience segments and able to balance scale vs. personalization in merchant marketing efforts.
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools and familiar with A/B testing frameworks and performance marketing metrics.

About the Team

In the Merchant Growth Marketing team, you’ll work closely with the CRM, Analytics, and Branding teams to drive feature adoption among GoFood merchants, with a strong focus on growing usage through the GoFood merchant app. This involves crafting targeted campaigns, leveraging data insights, and developing engaging marketing assets to educate and activate merchants at scale. You'll also collaborate with the Business and Operations teams to align on strategic priorities, understand merchant pain points, and implement initiatives that not only boost adoption but also contribute to the overall growth and efficiency of the GoFood ecosystem.
