About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor (Estimator) to join our team at Siloam Hospitals Group (Tbk) in Karawaci, Banten. As a key member of our Construction team, you will play a vital role in the estimating and cost management of our mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) projects. This is a contract position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed estimates and bills of quantities for MEP components of construction projects

Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to identify and quantify MEP requirements

Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate cost forecasting and budgeting

Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and contract documents

Monitor and report on project costs, highlighting potential risks and opportunities

Provide expert advice and support to the project management team on all MEP-related matters

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favourable terms

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on MEP systems

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other construction documentation

Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, and construction methods

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities

Proficient in the use of Quantity Surveying software, such as Estimating, Sage, or MS Excel

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
