Job description

Our primary portfolio includes eco-city townships, logistics solutions, and cutting-edge data centers. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced MEP Project Engineer to join our team for an exciting ambitious project in West Java. This role will be based at our project site.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the hands-on execution and supervision of all MEP system installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, industrial processes) on industrial/factory project sites. Ensure strict adherence to design specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and local regulations (e.g., SNI), conducting regular inspections and tests.
  • Serve as the central point for MEP coordination among architects, structural engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients. Facilitate seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall construction schedule and design, resolving inter-disciplinary clashes proactively.
  • Perform comprehensive technical reviews of MEP design drawings, specifications, and calculations for constructability, functionality, efficiency, and code compliance. Identify and implement value engineering opportunities, propose design improvements, and utilize BIM for clash detection and resolution.
  • Monitor project timelines against the master schedule, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions. Support effective cost control by tracking expenditures, reviewing payment applications, and managing material deliveries and resource allocation for MEP components.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges, design conflicts, and construction issues that arise during the installation phase, providing practical and timely solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Guarantee all MEP activities and installations comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Oversee the accurate preparation and maintenance of submittals, progress reports, and as-built documentation.

Requirements:

  • Holding Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Equipping 6-8 years of progressive experience as an MEP Project Engineer, with significant expertise in both on-site construction management and technical MEP design review specifically for industrial or factory buildings.
  • Strong, practical knowledge of industrial MEP systems (HVAC, power distribution, fire protection, plumbing, process utilities) and proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proven ability in project planning, scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance within a construction environment. Familiarity with Indonesian building codes (e.g., SNI) and relevant international industry standards is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate effectively across multiple disciplines and stakeholders. Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
