Job summary

Dwimitra Listenlights, a leading M&E service provider, is seeking an MEP Engineer to support mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design, installation, and coordination on construction projects in Indonesia. The role covers review of drawings, technical submissions, and coordinating with procurement, QA/QC, and site teams.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, strong MEP knowledge, and proven experience in large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in MEP engineering roles within construction projects.
• Experience in Data Center or large-scale MEP projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation standards, and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review MEP design drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions, and material submittals.
• Support engineering and technical coordination for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems including HVAC, ventilation, piping, drainage, MV/LV power distribution, UPS, generators, grounding, lighting, and plumbing systems.
• Perform technical calculations and engineering analysis to support project requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams including procurement, QA/QC, T&C, site supervisors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure engineering works comply with approved documents, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
• Identify technical issues, discrepancies, and design clashes, and propose corrective solutions.
• Assist in preparing method statements, SOPs, work procedures, and other technical documentation.
• Support project planning and scheduling by providing technical inputs for MEP activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding technical clarifications and submittals.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and maintain engineering records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international and local standards, and project-specific requirements.
