AstraZeneca is seeking a Medical Affairs professional to advance scientific engagement with KEEs and external stakeholders, driving scientific programs in priority diseases. The role emphasizes deep therapeutic expertise, regulator knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates bring MSL-like experience, fluency in English, and a track record of ethical engagement across internal and external audiences.

Formación

• Thorough knowledge and prior medical affairs experiences; Oncology TA experience is a plus.
• Ability to interact and manage a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales and marketing.

• Build, maintain and expand engagement with scientific leaders (KEEs).
• Develop and sustain trust-based relationships with external stakeholders.
• Create or initiate scientific programs to explore unmet medical needs in priority disease areas.
• Act as scientific expert in priority disease areas for internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ongoing development of scientific expertise in disease areas of focus.
• Ensure compliance with company and local country codes of conduct.

What you’ll do

• Build, enhance and maintain the engagement with scientific leaders (KEEs)
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with external stakeholders
• Develop or initiate scientific programs to explore unmet medical needs in priority disease area(s).
• Act as scientific expert in priority disease area(s) for internal stakeholders
• Continuously demonstrate development of scientific expertise in disease area(s) of company focus
• Comply with relevant company and industry code of Conduct and also to comply with local country codes

Essential for the role

• Thorough knowledge and prior medical affairs experiences, experience in Oncology TA will be an advantage.
• Ability to interact and manage a range of stakeholders both internally and externally
• Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales and marketing

Desirable for the role

• Preferably having medical degree, however degree in life sciences will be considered.
• Having at least 1-2 years of experience as MSL in MNC Pharma companies. Preferably in Respiratory TA.
• Thorough knowledge or experience of the pharmaceutical industry and the area of field medical liaisons
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
