Objectives of this Role
- Develop and achieve sales targets as committed
- Identify new growth opportunities and build strong relationships with customers, adhering to Gene Solutions’ compliance guidelines
- Establish long-term professional relationships with targeted customer groups to promote Gene’s services
- Prepare all necessary sales reports for the line manager
Responsibilities of this Role
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using compelling arguments to prospective customers (Oncologists, MDs, Laboratories, Hospitals)
- Create and execute marketing, sales, and digital programs to meet goals and objectives
- Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Resolve customer problems and concerns regarding products and services promptly
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments, fostering strong team relationships
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive activities, and potential new products/services
- Stay updated on best practices and promotional trends; continuously improve skills through learning and feedback
- Analyze market potential, optimize strategies, track sales, and report regularly on progress
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs
Candidate Requirements
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- A university degree or higher in Science, Pharmacy, Public Health, or related fields
- At least 3-5 years of experience in medical sales or related areas
- Strong scientific knowledge and excellent selling and negotiation skills
- Oncology background is an advantage
- Willingness to travel to research sites as needed
- Dynamic, detail-oriented, with good time management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Organized, patient, proactive, honest, enthusiastic, and adaptable
- Proficient in English, capable of reading, understanding, and translating documents
- Proficient in computer use and familiar with online meeting systems
