Job summary

Siloam International Hospitals is seeking a Medical Records and Health Information specialist in Balikpapan to compile, code, and organize patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. You will work with ICD-10/ICD-9CM classifications, input data into hospital systems, and prepare data for internal and external reporting.

The role requires a D3 in Medical Records and Health Information, experience with EHR systems, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Medical Records and Health Information.
• Experience with EHR systems, data entry, and maintaining patient records is valuable.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and record maintenance.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing large volumes of medical records.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Compile and code medical records to ICD-10 and ICD-9CM standards.
• Arrange patient files for efficient medical services.
• Input diagnosis codes and procedures into HIS/INA CBG systems.
• Ensure forms are complete for quantitative analysis and reporting.
• Produce daily, monthly, and annual reports from medical records.
• Support quality and safety procedures, and participate in training.
