Crossing Hurdles is seeking an Internal Medicine Hospitalist for a remote contract role focused on AI data quality. You will review medical records, validate clinical information, and ensure documentation supports coding and patient care decisions.

The position requires board-certified internal medicine credentials, inpatient workflow knowledge, and the ability to review notes and raw data. Expect 10–40 hours per week with strong attention to detail.

Formación

• Strong experience with inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Ability to review clinical notes and raw medical records.
• Familiarity with chart review and medical coding/QA is a plus.
• Experience with AI data curation or data labeling is helpful.

• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training.
• Check whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
• Review inpatient adult medicine documentation, including HPI, PMH, medication reconciliation, social history, assessments, and plans.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in medical records, including renal- and hepatic-adjusted dosing, medication interactions, and age-appropriate clinical details.
• Share feedback to help improve AI models and data quality.

Position: Internal Medicine Hospitalist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $80 - $125/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in the domain.


• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine (or Internal Medicine with a Hospital Medicine focused practice designation).


• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows, including admission, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge.


• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.


• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
