Job Description
- Deliver expert-level service on advanced thermal management systems, including preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and upgrades of precision cooling units (CRACs, chillers, in-row systems, etc.).
- Commission and configure new thermal solutions to ensure optimal performance from day one-supporting system startups, site acceptance testing, and customer training.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, ensuring rapid resolution with minimal disruption to mission-critical operations.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor on-site, clearly communicating system status, performance insights, and recommended actions to clients.
- Support emergency callouts and unscheduled service events as part of a regional on-call rotation, demonstrating responsiveness and reliability under pressure.
- Maintain detailed service documentation including maintenance logs, fault reports, and performance feedback using company tools and reporting systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal engineering, technical support, and project management teams to deliver seamless service across the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and internal procedures at all times during site visits and service interventions.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree, diploma, or relevant certification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with cooling or HVAC systems (preferably in mission-critical environments).
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems used in thermal management.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
