DAMAC Digital is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Mechanical to lead delivery of mission-critical data center projects in Indonesia. You will oversee design coordination, construction, testing and handover, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong expertise in HVAC, cooling, liquid cooling, BMS, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams with internal and external stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience managing mechanical or MEP projects.
• At least 5 years delivering data center projects through full lifecycle.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, cooling, thermal management.
• Hands-on experience with liquid cooling in data centers.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale construction or mission-critical projects.
• Experience with clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of international standards and project management best practices.
• Data center certifications are advantageous.

DAMAC Digital is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Mechanical to lead the delivery of mission-critical data center projects in Indonesia. This role is ideal for a seasoned project professional with extensive experience managing large-scale mechanical and MEP systems, particularly within data center environments.

You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, from design coordination and construction through testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical and MEP systems for large-scale data center developments.

Develop project schedules, execution strategies, and resource plans.

Manage project scope, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Technical Management

HVAC and cooling systems

District cooling systems

Plumbing and fire protection systems

Building Management Systems (BMS)

Review technical submissions, shop drawings, and engineering documentation.

Ensure compliance with local regulations and international industry standards.

Data Center Cooling Expertise

Drive the implementation of advanced cooling technologies for high-density environments.

Lead projects involving liquid cooling solutions, including direct-to-chip, immersion cooling, and other innovative cooling technologies.

Work closely with IT, electrical, and operations teams to optimize thermal performance, energy efficiency, and operational reliability.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the main point of contact between internal teams, consultants, contractors, and project leadership.

Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.

Provide regular reporting on project progress, risks, milestones, and key deliverables.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards.

Support project audits and documentation reviews.

Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related fields

Minimum 15 years of experience managing mechanical or MEP projects.

At least 5 years of experience delivering data center projects through the full construction and commissioning lifecycle.

Strong expertise in HVAC, cooling systems, thermal management, and mission-critical infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with liquid cooling technologies within data center environments.

Proven track record delivering large-scale construction, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.

Experience working with clients, consultants, contractors, and cross-functional project teams.

Knowledge of international standards and project management best practices.

Data center certifications are considered an advantage.
