Job summary

Golden Agri Resources in Tarjun, South Kalimantan, is seeking a Mechanical Officer to monitor unit progress, coach teams, and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget. You will coordinate production, PPIC, and admin staff, prepare inspection schedules, review inventory and production plans, and contribute to cost control and risk management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 3-5 years of refinery experience, with SAP and maintenance-management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
• 3-5 years of experience as mechanical officer in refinery or similar field.
• Familiar with SAP and maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards, quality management system.
• Certifications in ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 22000: 2005, SMK3, and OHSAS 18001 is preferred.
• Will be placed at our refinery in Tarjun, South Kalimantan.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate progress of unit team and direct activities to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to production, PPIC, and administration assistants.
• Coordinate and motivate team members to accomplish tasks.
• Prepare and approve inspection or visit schedules for subordinates.
• Examine and verify inventory and production plans, support sales forecast, and achieve financial objectives.
• Develop budgeting strategies, manage costs, and promote risk management.
• Submit weekly, monthly, and annual reports to Division Head.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and manage headcount and financial matters.

Ensure overall status and progress of all activities within the team is directed towards completion in accordance to desired results, being on time and within budget. Utilizing discipline to ensure high-value success. **Job Description:*** Provide guidance by coaching and mentoring production, PPIC, and administration assistant in an appropriate manner, towards a desired direction to complete the activities and task.
