Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Staff to join our team at PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk, based in Sidoarjo, East Java. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment vital to our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing regular inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and other machinery.
2. Troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
3. Following standardized maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
4. Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance planning and execution.
6. Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.

What we're looking for

1. Diploma 3 graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 1 year experience in a mechanical maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting (also open to fresh graduates).
3. Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and repair techniques.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Discipline and responsibility in following rules (Safety and Time Schedule).
