Job Title:Mechanical Engineer – Static & Pipeline

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experiencedMechanical Engineerto support the front-end engineering design of offshore pipeline projects with tie-ins toOnshore Receiving Facilities (ORF). The role focuses onstatic mechanical systems, includingdesign development,drawing review,technical evaluations, andcontractual inputduring the FEED phase of ORF infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical engineering activities during the FEED phase for ORF facilities and offshore pipeline interfaces.
- Develop and review mechanical designs and specifications for static equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
- Prepare and validate PFDs, P&IDs, layout drawings, and mechanical datasheets.
- Ensure mechanical integration between offshore pipelines and onshore facilities is technically sound and constructible.
- Conduct design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID sessions, and interface coordination with other disciplines.
- Provide technical input for procurement strategies, contract scopes, and tender documentation.
- Evaluate vendor and contractor proposals from a technical perspective.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, DNV), and HSE standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with strong exposure to static equipment and offshore pipeline projects.
- Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PV Elite, Caesar II, or equivalent.
- Experience in contract management and technical coordination with contractors and vendors.
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, DNV).
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience with EPC contractors or oil & gas operators.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems in coastal and marine environments.
- Professional Engineering License or equivalent certification is a plus.
