Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk in Jakarta is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to oversee installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems on site.

You will design and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, analyse performance data, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Proven expertise in mechanical system design, installation and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in mechanical systems engineering and preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job description

• Proficient in mechanical systems engineering, equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and the use of engineering design and analysis software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with relevant mechanical system, safety and environmental regulations.
• Placement: Head Office, Jakarta. Willing to travel for regular site visits when needed.
