Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out, coordinate, and arrange the job activities as requested by department objectives.

• Coordinate and liaise with classification societies, third-party inspection agencies, and other trades to ensure adherence to related standards.

• Ensure that work carried out complies with international construction codes and class specifications.

• Follow the Safety Rules and Regulations as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.

• Order spares and equipment for dock maintenance.

• Perform planned and predictive maintenance.

• For floating docks, conduct internal inspections and lead annual surveys and acceptance with Class surveyors.

• Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation records as required by company policy.

• Support other teams within the department as required.

• Manage daily departmental activities.

• Follow the Safety Rules and Regulations stipulated in the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy by the yard.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related industrial experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in shipyard, oil & gas industry, or related fields.

• Familiarity with IACS Classification Society Rules.

• Good command of the English language and effective communication skills.

• Strong planning and execution abilities.

• Ability to work with a multinational workforce.

• Industrial safety management training.
