A leading company in the marine engineering sector is seeking a candidate with a degree in Naval Architecture or related field. The role involves coordinating activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and performing maintenance tasks. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in relevant industries and strong planning abilities.
Carry out, coordinate, and arrange the job activities as requested by department objectives.
Coordinate and liaise with classification societies, third-party inspection agencies, and other trades to ensure adherence to related standards.
Ensure that work carried out complies with international construction codes and class specifications.
Follow the Safety Rules and Regulations as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy by the yard.
Order spares and equipment for dock maintenance.
Perform planned and predictive maintenance.
For floating docks, conduct internal inspections and lead annual surveys and acceptance with Class surveyors.
Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation records as required by company policy.
Support other teams within the department as required.
Manage daily departmental activities.
Follow the Safety Rules and Regulations stipulated in the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy by the yard.
Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related industrial experience.
At least 2 years of experience in shipyard, oil & gas industry, or related fields.
Familiarity with IACS Classification Society Rules.
Good command of the English language and effective communication skills.
Strong planning and execution abilities.
Ability to work with a multinational workforce.
Industrial safety management training.
