Job summary

ISS Indonesia is seeking a mechanical drafter to join our engineering team in West Java. You will produce precise 2D and 3D drawings and manage project documentation for mechanical components and assemblies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 2–5 years of drafting experience, and strong English skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, and Autodesk is essential, with knowledge of jig and fixture design a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience as a drafter in mechanical engineering.
• Proficient with 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, Autodesk).
• Good English (spoken & written).
• Professional certification related to mechanical engineering drafting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D mechanical drawings using CAD tools (AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, Autodesk).
• Prepare engineering documents and specifications; maintain and organize documents.

Job description

• Min. bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical) or equivalent
• Min 2-5 years of experience as a Drafter preferably in mechanical engineering (spare part), machinery design in manufacturing company
• Familiar and able to operate 2D/3D software modelling tools (AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, Autodesk), jig, fixture, AutoCAD/Nano-CAD
• Good English skill (spoken & written)
• People with good personality, energetic, and analytical thinking
• Strong communication, self-driven and persistent
• Having professional certification related to mechanical engineering drafter is more advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to create 2D/3D mechanical drawing using the software modelling tools (AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, Autodesk)
• Ability to prepare engineering documents, specifications, maintain and ensure that all documents are well documented
