Job summary

PT DSL INDONESIA is seeking a forklift mechanic to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on forklift units and related equipment. You will diagnose faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and ensure safe, high-performance operation according to company standards.

The role requires a SMK or D3 in Mechanical or related field, 1–2 years of experience with heavy equipment, and a valid SIO license.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMK or D3 in Mechanical, Automotive, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or related fields.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience, preferably with heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
• Must hold a valid Operator License (SIO).
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform forklift inspections, routine preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
• Maintain, test, and diagnose faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ensure units operate safely and at optimal performance per technical standards.
• Prepare regular technical work reports and track spare parts inventory.
• Apply HSE standards in the workplace.

Job description

Perform Forklift technical inspections, routine preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on units/machinery.

Prepare regular technical work reports and spare parts inventory tracking.

Qualifications:

Minimum Vocational High School (SMK) diploma or Associate Degree (D3) in Mechanical, Automotive, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Mechanic (experience with heavy equipment or industrial machinery is preferred).

Must hold a valid Operator License (SIO / Surat Izin Operator).

Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.

Ability to read technical schematics and machine diagrams.

Disciplined, honest, responsible, and capable of working both independently and in a team.

Willing to work on sites as required.
