Job summary

World Vision Indonesia is seeking a Technical MEAL Specialist to lead monitoring, evaluation, accountability, research and learning across the PASTI Papua project. You will guide program staff, ensure quality assurance, and promote evidence-based decision making at the zonal level.

The role requires advanced degrees, 5+ years in MEAL, English fluency, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. The position is a local fixed-term contract based in Papua Tengah.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in development studies or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in development work with MEAL experience.
• Fluent in English, strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic MEAL advice to ensure project outcomes are met.
• Lead monitoring, evaluation, learning, and accountability efforts.
• Strengthen data quality, reporting, and learning across programs.
• Coordinate with national and field teams for evidence-based decisions.
• Build MEAL capacity among staff and partners.
