Job description

Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
Documenting and reporting on students' progress.
Collaborating with a school’s administration in enforcing rules of behaviour, class participation and conduct for students.
Developing flexible, effective teaching tools and methods to help students learn mathematics.
Creating and assigning learning projects, tests, quizzes and homework for students, then grading their performance accurately on these assignments.
Working with students individually if they need extra help and support in their math coursework.
Willing to be appointed as a homeroom teacher as required.
Attend all staff meetings and other work-related functions, including special events, as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics, or primary school education (PGSD).
Proven 3 years or more experience as a Math Teacher.
Proven experience in assisting and teaching students in Maths Olympiad (e.g. AMO, SASMO, JISMO, TIMO, etc).
