Job summary

PT OSI ELECTRONICS, a long-standing electronics manufacturer, seeks a Production Planner to align material supply with production schedules and report weekly on status. The role involves coordinating with purchasing, shipping finished goods, and monitoring capacity utilization.

Ideal candidates will have a business-related degree, strong communication, and problem-solving skills, plus proficiency with CAD and MS Office. On-site work and collaborative teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in business/related field; preferred from reputable universities.
• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving to tackle practical problems.
• Ability to review plans and apply regulations to field conditions.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; detail-oriented.
• Excellent documentation, statistical analysis and basic CAD/MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production plans with purchasing to ensure material availability.
• Provide weekly status reports to managers and customers on schedule status.
• Generate material shortage reports for procurement and programs.
• Prepare shipment authorizations for finished goods.
• Monitor monthly revenue by product line and optimize capacity utilization.
• Assist in expediting problem materials or shortages as needed.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and correct negative adjustments.
• Ensure timely closure of work orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production plans with purchasing team to ensure material availability
• Provide weekly status reports to Material/Resource managers and customers identifying production schedule status and issues that affect delivery.
• Provide Material shortage report to purchasing and program group to work on.
• Prepare shipment authorization for finished goods shipping to customers.
• Monitor monthly revenue of product lines handled and help ensure production capacity is utilized to the fullest.
• Assist in expediting problem materials or shortages whenever needed.
• Monitor inventory to check against negative adjustment inventory resulting from attrition and loss
• Follow-up work Orders closure.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in business/Related field from high reputable universities - preferred
• Oral communication and interpersonal skills to explain rules and procedures clearly to the public
• Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve vaguely defined practical problems
• Ability to review plans and apply provisions of the ordinances and codes to determine compliance with such regulations and to apply regulations to field conditions
• Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed
• Ability to attend to details while keeping big-picture goals in mind
• Irrespective of the organization where a planner works,
• Excellent skills of communication, documentation, statistical analysis; technical skills (CAD, MS Office, and internet), etc.
