Material Planning Assistant Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Optimized Inventory Levels: Ensuring that inventory is maintained at optimal levels to meet production demands without overstocking.
• Efficient Production Scheduling: Aligning material availability with production schedules to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
• Cost Reduction: Implementing strategies to reduce material costs through effective planning and supplier negotiations.
• Improved Supplier Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality materials.
• Enhanced Data Analysis: Utilizing data analysis tools to monitor inventory levels, production schedules, and supplier performance.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks related to material shortages or delays in the supply chain.
• Continuous Improvement: Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes and overall productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, or another related field.
• Experience of 5-8 years in PPIC or Supply Planning Manufacturing.
• Preferably have experience in Manufacturing from a consumer company.
• Project management ability.
• Skills in Leadership, Analysis, Planning, Negotiation, Detail orientation, Target orientation, and Problem Solving.
• Knowledge of the process flow of production.
• Able to make production and raw material forecasting / Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
