Job summary

ParagonCorp is seeking a Master Data Specialist to manage material master data in SAP MM and ensure data integrity. The role involves validating data with SQL, coordinating with R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement to collect required information, and ensuring compliance with internal SOPs.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of Master Data or Data Quality experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Quality, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis across multiple systems.
• Familiarity with SAP, particularly the Material Management (MM) module, is a strong advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Good communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation systems.
• Experience in the manufacturing or FMCG industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the creation, updating, and maintenance of material master data in SAP MM.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to collect required data, documents, and approvals.
• Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal SOPs and data standards.
• Monitor and follow up on material master data requests to ensure timely processing.
• Perform data validation and quality checks before data entry or updates.
• Validate and reconcile data between SAP and related applications using SQL queries.
• Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Support master data audits, reporting, data cleansing, migration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
