Material Engineer

As a Material Engineer, you will be tasked to develop project planning and to execute material testing, feasibility study, qualification process for alternate sources and material.

In this role, a typical day will include:

1. Develop project planning to execute material testing, feasibility study, qualification process for alternate sources and material.
2. Involve in supplier capability assessment and supplier readiness to supply component and or material.
3. Generate protocols and reports for: feasibility study/engineering study and material qualification.
4. Coordinate the protocol execution.
5. Communication with Alcon stakeholders and supplier for pre-work, execution and post execution of projects.
6. Uphold and compliance to HSE, GMP/Quality, Data Integrity and Company policy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

1. Min Degree in science or engineering studies
2. Good understanding of injection molding, tubings, extrusion related processes would be advantageous but not a must
3. 0-2 Years of relevant experience in material testing, training will be provided
