Job summary

PT Manito World is seeking a Marketing Staff / Marketing Japanese Speaker to build relationships with Japanese customers and drive market research from inquiry to delivery. You will engage in communication in Japanese, identify opportunities, and support cross-functional teams to satisfy customer needs.

The candidate should have D3/S1 education, JLPT N3/N2/N1 preferred, and 1–2 years in marketing or related roles.

Qualifications

• Education at least D3/S1 in Marketing or related field.
• Fluent written and spoken Japanese.
• JLPT N3/N2/N1 preferred.
• Proficient in Indonesian; English a plus.
• 1–2 years in Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, Customer Service, or Export-Import.
• Experience in manufacturing, garment, textile, or trading companies preferred.
• Able to negotiate with Japanese customers.
• Able to draft business emails in Japanese.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain good relationships with Japanese customers.
• Communicate with customers using Japanese language.
• Search for and develop new customer and market opportunities.
• Follow up on inquiries, quotations, orders, samples, and customer requests.
• Coordinate with Production, PPIC, Purchasing, QC, and Export-Import to meet customer needs.
• Monitor production progress and delivery according to customer requests.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate resolution.
• Create marketing activity reports and customer development updates.
• Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and Japanese customer needs.
• Support meetings, factory visits, audits, and business negotiations with Japanese customers.
