A leading company in the mining sector is seeking a Sales Manager based in Jakarta. The role involves identifying business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the mining industry, with fluency in English and Mandarin being a plus.
· Identifying business expansion opportunities and examining market prospect.
· Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Boosting revenue in target markets.
· To drive technical strategy to satisfy existing and new market opportunities.
· To build company branding and network.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
· Maintain and penetrate existing or new customer to introduce company products with close follow up in order to meet the assigned target.
3. Market Research:
· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead in the market
· To proactively monitor, analyse and develop clients & market share at a high level.
· Preparing presentations for customers.
· Conduct compelling and informative product presentations to potential clients, showcasing the advantages of mining products.
5. Negotiation and Closing:
· Engaging in technical and commercial negotiations.
· Organizing tenders and signing contracts with clients.
· Skillfully negotiate terms and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· To ensure the timely and accurate completion of project/tender activities in accordance with revenue expectations.
6. Project Management:
· Creates planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
Evaluating Project Progress and Providing Alternative Solutions to Issues.
7. Documentation:
· Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation as required.
Requirements:
1. Possess Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Management or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of working experiences as sales management in mining/coal industries.
3. Possess in-depth knowledge of coal mining.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner
5. Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
6. Proficient communication in English and Mandarin
7. Work location: Head office, Central Jakarta.
8. Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
