Job description

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and results-driven professional who will lead LWC’s high-performing marketing and business development activities. The role includes managing proposal submittals, developing presentations for interviews, creating external communication messaging, collaborating with partners on business development, and other related functions to enhance the firm’s image and reputation. The job requires the ability to multi-task on multiple assignments, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and meet aggressive deadlines.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Identify potential project opportunities aligned with the firm’s markets
  • Prepare proposals, qualification packages, interview presentations, and awards submissions
  • Lead, refine, and maintain the firm’s brand identity guidelines
  • Write, edit, and proofread all marketing materials
  • Maintain databases and organize project descriptions, staff resumes, and photography
  • Prepare for interviews and presentations
  • Create, maintain, and update marketing collateral materials
  • Ensure the operation and quality of color printing
  • Conduct targeted market research
  • Maintain and update the firm’s website
  • Manage the firm’s social media presence
  • Represent the firm at networking, client, and community events

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • Experience in the design or professional services industries is preferred but not required
  • Established network that can lead to future firm business is a plus
  • Attention to accuracy and detail, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong graphics, writing, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong work ethic, highly organized, and creative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking ability, and capacity to work under deadline pressure

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary range of $90,000 to $120,000
  • Profit sharing and merit-based bonus opportunities based on company performance
