A leading company is building a premium adventure and trail running club and is seeking a Marketing & Community Coordinator. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about outdoor sports and possess a strong marketing background, involving strategy development and community engagement. We're building a premium adventure and trail running club, and we’re seeking a passionate Marketing & Community Coordinator to drive our brand growth, amplify our community voice, and tell compelling stories that bring our vision to life. This role combines marketing strategy, digital content creation, and grassroots community engagement—ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys outdoor sports.
1. Marketing Strategy & Brand Building
Plan and execute marketing strategies tailored to the trail running segment.
Develop product positioning, seasonal marketing calendars, and brand messaging.
Collaborate with retail and sales teams to align campaigns across platforms.
2. Community Engagement & Event Coordination
Manage brand presence at trail running events and pop-ups.
Organize and lead group runs, training sessions, and technical workshops.
Build strong relationships with local runners, race organizers, and athletes.
Manage and schedule content across Instagram and Strava.
Write newsletters, campaign captions, and event recaps that reflect a vibrant, community-driven tone.
Create and coordinate engaging digital campaigns around launches, drops, and partnerships.
4. Brand Collaborations & Media
Coordinate product seeding, influencer outreach, and media coverage.
Partner with creators and athletes to amplify storytelling.
Work closely with the store’s marketing team for cross-promotional opportunities.
5. Monitoring & Optimization
Track campaign performance and community engagement impact.
Report on key metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
2+ years of marketing experience (preferably in sports, outdoor, or lifestyle sectors).
Hands-on experience or strong enthusiasm for trail running or outdoor sports.
Great writing skills, content judgment, and visual storytelling instincts.
Excellent coordination, communication, and project management skills.
Comfortable using Instagram, Strava, Canva, WhatsApp, and Google Drive.
Can shoot/edit Reels or short-form video content.
Have experience organizing community events or managing sports activations.
Understand the culture and ecosystem of trail running deeply.
