Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Marketing & Communication

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and guest engagement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local and international media, travel, lifestyle, and food editors.
  • Oversee content creation and brand messaging across all communication platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, and PR materials.
  • Plan and execute media placements, news releases, and influencer collaborations to generate maximum exposure.
  • Manage all digital marketing activities, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and website updates.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that drive direct bookings and F&B revenue.
  • Oversee the production of all marketing collaterals, including brochures, in-room materials, menus, and event signage.
  • Monitor online reputation and guest feedback, responding appropriately to maintain brand credibility.
  • Act as the hotel's spokesperson, when necessary, especially in crisis situations.
  • Establish public relations programs that align with sales and F&B strategies.
  • Organize and promote special events, partnerships, and community initiatives to enhance brand engagement.

Team Management

  • Lead and develop the Marketing & Communications team, ensuring high levels of creativity and performance.
  • Identify and mentor team members with growth potential.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous feedback.
  • Ensure the team upholds professional presentation, attitude, and execution of tasks.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to align marketing strategies with operational goals.

Other Responsibilities

  • Attend management meetings, training sessions, and corporate briefings.
  • Uphold brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and professionalism.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the General Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing.
Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Marketing Communications/Public Relations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong network with media, influencers, and brand partners.
  • Proven track record in executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
