Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc located in Jakarta, Indonesia, is seeking an IT Systems and Network Engineer to install, configure and commission data centres and complex network infrastructure as part of our maritime surveillance systems. The role involves ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and coordinating with customer IT teams.

Regular travel across the Indonesian region is expected, and a current international passport is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of network IT system setup and management experience.
• Professional English language required (spoken and written).
• Deep understanding of Windows/Linux servers and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms is advantageous.
• Strong IT security and data protection knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy networked servers, storage and related IT systems.
• Check installations, validate and prepare reports.
• Configure and troubleshoot connectivity systems across networks.
• Monitor system performance and implement patches and replacements.
• Support and train customer IT departments for ongoing ownership.
• Maintain thorough documentation of system changes and updates.
