Description

The opportunity:

Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product. It involves building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to ensure the timely delivery of quality products. Responsibilities also include auditing, monitoring, and assessing the quality of manufacturing processes and outputs against internal and regulatory standards, reporting and troubleshooting deviations and defects in finished goods. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. This role may require working independently with general supervision, handling difficult but not complex problems, and influencing others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Support management systems in the quality function, coordinate customer audits, follow up on actions, and perform quality management system audits, including global quality assessments and customer audits.

• Follow up on NCRs, coordinate root cause analysis (8D, etc.), and define actions with the related team from internal audits, customer audits, manufacturing, or customer claims (CCRP).

• Define Inspection Test Plans (ITP) based on contracts and relevant standards.

• Coordinate functional tests with customers and prepare relevant reports for Final Acceptance Report (FTA), collaborating closely with other functions such as Production, SCM, R&D, and Engineering, and coordinate improvement projects derived from Cost of Poor Quality and NCRs.

• Support initiatives and audits related to Sustainability, Material Compliance, Integrity, and Health, Environment, and Safety launched by Group functions/divisions.

• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in quality.

• Preferred knowledge and experience in the power transformer industry.

• Practical knowledge of SAP QM and technical knowledge of relevant products in the power T&D industry.

• Experience in implementing Lean production and Six Sigma, technical knowledge for supplier qualification, materials, and production processes.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
